   Best Part of Me - Ed Sheeran

"Film it your way"

It is proposed that the film will be from 4:03 to 4:20 minutes long, as we need to embed and intro which may include 20 more seconds. snippets of the film will be located in the sanctuary inside City Impact Church, and also the car park.

The following conventions will be used in the film to help us achieve the full effect of the music video. Non-diegetic sound will be used as when the film switches to Narrative the music will be playing while a story is being told, Diegetic sound is also used for when Oscar is in the car driving and hears the song so he turns it up and sings to it, which also comes across as performance. The Mise-En-Scene used in the music video is with Oscar looking like he is performing at a concert but with no one there, he will be wearing a Brown denim Jacket, with grey jeans, and brown business shoes to perfect the look.

After watching other Ed Sheeran Music Videos BK Productions have decided to embed some of his techniques into our film, which include the intro from The Joker and the Queen (Feat. Taylor Swift) and the silhouette from Perfect.

1. Character names and their motivations/representations in the film:
   Oscar will be dressed as Ed Sheeran with a guitar, singing in the Music Video.
   Ethan and Amy will be the cute couple that is explained in the sing as well as dancers in the Music Video.

   Oscar will be dressed up like Ed Sheeran with the same glasses and similar hair with either a wig or hair dye.

   
   
   
2. Mood and Tone:
   The Mood of the Music Video will be romantic as it will tie up well with the song and lyrics as they are very romantic, the Tone will be Heart-Warming, when audiences watch the Music Video we would like them to think that's cute and feel really warm when watching. BK Productions have decided to do these two Mood and Tones as we would like to create such an atmosphere that the audience will remember and love.
   
   
3. Camera shots, Camera movement/Lighting/Angles:
   The Camera shots will be very basic as we do not want to over do it and the audience don't understand the main meaning behind the Music Video, The Camera shots will be from Long shots, Close up shots, two shot, and even silhouettes to perfect the dancing look. The Lighting will be very natural instead of having artificial light being in it, But we are thinking of adding a little hint of artificial lights in the sanctuary as Oscar (Ed Sheeran) is singing.

   There will be an over the shoulder shot like this with both actors looking at each other and the camera is looking past them to the empty seats.
   
   
   
4. Themes and Motifs:
   The Theme of the Music Video is a nice romantic couple enjoying each others company and falling more in more in-love as the song goes on. The motif of the Music Video is the specific couple dancing and their silhouette as they make the whole video, because the audiences will be watching them in the Narrative part and will remember it.
   
   
   
   The colour white will be a symbol of pure love, where Amy's dress will have white on it as well as Ethan's suit. There will be more signs of white in the music video as well.
   
   
   
   
5. Narrative:
   The Narrative part of the Music Video will have Ethan and Amy (couple) dancing with their silhouette as this will create a type of romantic atmosphere that will draw in the audiences as everyone loves a little rom-com Music Video.

6. Mise-En-Scene/Setting:
   The Props that we will be using is a car, Microphone stand with a Microphone, the sanctuary stage, and a guitar. The Clothing that Oscar will be wearing is a lumberjack Jacket, grey jeans, and Black Business shoes, these items of clothing will make Oscar look like Ed Sheeran when performing on stage to himself/to the audiences watching. The clothing that Ethan will be wearing will be very formal and clean like white as it also symbolizes the purity of true love as it relates to a white wedding dress that also represents purity of true love as well as a white rose. The Clothes that Amy will be wearing will be a nice flowery dress that is formal and clean to also match Ethan's clothes as they are dancing. The setting of all of this will be in the Sanctuary of City Impact Church and also the Carpark, BK Productions would also like to go elsewhere which has a great setting and relates to the Music Video if need be.

7. Symbolism:
   There is symbolism within the Music Video as the clothing of Ethan and Amy will be very formal and clean but will also symbolize the video. The Symbolism with Ethan is the fact that he will be wearing white and white symbolizes the purity of true love which is important in a romantic Music Video as love is the meaning behind romance. The Symbolism with Amy is that she will be wearing a flowery dress which will bring our the Symbolism of Peace within a relationship/couple and how important it is because it can lead to trust and respect as well.
   
   
8. Sound and Music:
   The sound and music of the Music video will have Non-Diegetic sound and also Diegetic sound embedded the Music video audio of Best Part of Me by Ed Sheeran will be put on top of the narrative for a Non-Diegetic effect, while when Oscar is in the car and turns on the radio he will be singing to the music which will give a Diegetic effect.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
9. Use of Credits and Logos:
   The Credits in our Music Video will including the CAST of Oscar Ironside who is acting as Ed Sheeran, Ethan Sharneck as Dancer/guy in the couple, Amy as Dancer/girl in the couple. Directors of Kevin Harris, and Brianna Hodder. While also giving credit to City Impact Church for allowing us to use their premises and Car Park

10. Editing:
    In the editing process of the Music Video BK Productions have got a variety of editing methods from previous Ed Sheeran Music Videos. We have decided to Split the screen with the main Cast of Ed Sheeran and YEBBA and show them in the beginning of the Music Video so the targeted Audience can identify that they are the main characters. With the Editing of the Music Video we will add Non-Diegetic sound and put it over the clips of Narrative.
