Change in Distribution Models Americans love going to the movies, but while box-office revenues have risen incrementally over the past few years (in 2013, receipts topped out at a record $10.9 billion), that’s solely due to rising ticket prices; attendance continues to plummet. This year, it’s estimated that only 1.24 billion tickets will be sold at American theaters, down from 1.34 billion last year, and 1.36 billion in 2012. A demographic is a set of objectives characteristics that describe a group of people. Or can also be people who will be willing to listen to or watch your music video. Those characteristics may include age, gender, class, ethnicity, sexuality, and location, sometimes even education and lifestyle. However the most important characteristic is "age" Psychographics segmentation divides the market into groups based on social class, lifestyle and, personality characteristics. One example of the lifestyle characteristic is the classification model, is that developed by the advertising agency, Young and Rubican.
