snapchat has created snap streaked which makes people go onto their phones more and social platform to do this snap every day, which gives them something that they do not want to lose especially if they have ben going for 152 days without stopping.

many people when they go on holidays they tend to give passwords to their friends to carry on their streaks as it is very important to them more than anything else in the world... and this is how snapchat catches the people who use their platform, because there are about 150 million us children who use this as a normal way to communicate with friends. 

different platforms have 100 people behind phones of audiences trying to find the patterns you use and try to get you to use their platform for a longer period of time 

the way in which Facebook tries to hook you closer to your phone when feeling lonely instead of helping you connect with your friend and they way they do this is by making the people in the control room maximize the way you spend on those platforms to isolate you and keep you on your phone at the platforms
